To make us think spring is coming faster, we put our trust in a little plant !

Whether it is coming or not, work at the greenhouse does not stand still.
While quite a few little sprouts are ready to go out into the world,
There is still a lot to be seeded.
With the help of our "seeding box", the seeding can be done faster.
When you walk through the greenhouse, here and there the unexpected flower pops up:
Meanwhile, we had to open the second greenhouse already.
Here you can see the potted roses and many different varieties of iris.
And something new we are going to try.
We brought in all different kinds of shrubs.  Soon they will be transplanted in bigger pots.
Of course, this spring we will offer many kinds of herbs again.  The smell of fresh basil just makes you hungry.

To close off, I was asked to help spread the word about this coming up event.  If you have never attended this day, I have to say that it is really a nice day out.  So if you have nothing planned, this may be something nice to come to.

Thank you for following our blog.
Till next time again !

On a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon !

We (that is Daisy, Gingie and I) went for a quick walk in the greenhouse.
(these are our Jack Russell dogs in case you wonder)

When you enter the greenhouse, you get overwhelmed by the smells that welcome you.
A minty smell, a lemon smell, dirt smell and the smell of fresh watering of the plants.

Looking around, one is amazed by how fast it all is growing.

Little seed seeded only a few weeks ago by Sylvia are pretty soon going to be ready to be transplanted.
Unrooted cuttings that we brought in are barely rooted but are proud to show their little flowers.
Sometimes you wonder if these will survive, but they are sure blooming.
And in between all the beautiful greens, there are the bright sunny colors popping up,
And if this is not a sign of new life !!Cute little bright green new shoots on the little Alberta Spruce trees.
And while I am working on this blog, I am listening to music of the movie "The way we were". (that handsome Robert Redford!)
Piano music we downloaded on the play list for the store.

What a quiet, relaxing, enjoyable sunny Sunday afternoon it was.

Till next time!
